A Pitch Global Series

Family office meets angel and CVC investments

Sponsored by

GTS

Learn more here about GTS, which was started by pioneers in VC & Family Office investing, who invested in companies like Amgen, Tandem Computers, etc. Family Offices is one investment class that is getting a lot of attention, so it is an honor for Pitch Global to co-host this event series with GTS.

In the opening image above, the Founder and President of GTS, Sasha Johnson, is moderating a panel discussion with two legendary VCs, Dick Kramlich (middle), Co-Founder of New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and Norm Fogelsong (right), Advisory Partner at Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) at the 20th Annual GTS in November 2023 where Pitch Global was a Sponsor. Sasha is also a long-term board member of Pitch Global.

Our events usually have at least one investor as a keynote speaker, and we feature up to 10 investors from well-known Funds such as TDK Ventures, Stanford Angels, Harvard Angels, Keiretsu Forum, Caltech Angels, Samsung Catalyst Fund, Hypertherm Ventures, US Angels, IPO group, etc. We also usually have about 15-20 unfeatured investors as attendees.

Event details for startups

Startups will be connected to the UC Berkeley Extension team 5 days before the event. The Extension team will provide logistical details for the event.  During the event, startups will have 6 minutes to pitch, and 2 mins for questions from featured investors and attendees (which would also include investors). Following the main event, there will be a session where each startup presenter will have a short private meeting with a featured investor assigned based on fit. The registered startup company’s name and information will be sent out to our network of investors via our newsletter for increased visibility with investors for the startup.
